Profile Guidelines
This section covers the guidelines for creating, exporting, and submitting Stream Deck profiles to the Elgato Marketplace. Before submitting, make sure your profile is correctly labelled for the intended device type and operating system, and that all information in the Maker Console is accurate and complete.

Icons
use custom icons to complement your profile.
use icons or icon packs created by other Makers without permission.
use icons in your media images if they are not included within your profile.
mention actions or features in your media and description if it's not included within your profile.
use icons to label folders when using them for pagination or organization within your profile.
leave empty text actions without icons or buttons
Supported Devices & OS
label your profiles by device type, e.g.
World of Warcraft, Stream Deck XL.streamDeckProfile.label your profiles if they use OS-specific shortcut keys such as the
WinorCmdkeys, for exampleStar Citizen Profile, macOS.streamDeckProfile.accurately list supported devices based on the profiles available in your product.
list a device as supported if the profile was not specifically built for said device.
list an operating system (OS) as supported if you have not tested on that OS.
use Virtual Stream Deck or Stream Deck Mobile's custom canvas sizes if you wish to provide support for more devices.
properly label in your title, descripotion and gallery which OS your product supports.
Additional Files
include additional required files, such as shortcut key configurations for apps.
list any dependencies in your product description.
provide links to dependencies, as additional links, on your product page
include files or downloads in your bundle that you do not have permission to distribute.
include any malicious files within your downloads.
advertise third party websites or marketplaces in your additional files.
Guidelines
use custom icons to complement your profile.
label your profiles by device type, e.g. "Stream Deck XL".
label your profiles if they use OS-specific commands (e.g. Windows, Ctrl, and Alt for Windows; Command and Option for Mac).
list any dependencies in your product description.
use icons or icon packs created by other Makers without permission.
use copyrighted materials or screenshots of software.
include files or downloads in your bundle that you do not have permission to distribute.
